Jean-Michel David
Jean-Michel David was born in Paris and came to Australia at a young age. After spending time in London and Paris in the late 1970s, he returned to Australia in 1980, where he has lived and worked ever since.
His background spans philosophy, esotericism, and education. He has taught philosophy at university level, and has lectured on Tarot, astrology, and Kabbalah in various adult education settings. Since 1995, he has been involved in Steiner (Waldorf) education. Since 1982, he has also held ritualistic roles within Masonic and Rosicrucian orders in Melbourne, and is one of the principal organisers of the International Tarot Conference held in Melbourne in July 2005.
His interests include meditation, spirituality, philosophy, mathematics, and bushwalking. He is deeply committed to civil liberties and personal freedom, and draws intellectual inspiration from thinkers such as Rudolf Steiner, Peter Deunov and Valentin Tomberg
